Chromatest - Microbiome Analysis

The CHROMATEST determines the qualitative and quantitative composition of the small intestine microbiota using the GC-MS (gas chromatography-mass spectrometry) method. From the measured data, accurate conclusions can be drawn about the number, activity, and effects of microbes present in the small intestine.

The healthy small intestine microbiota endogenously produces various substances, such as vitamins, amino acids, neurotransmitters, hormones, antibiotics, short-chain fatty acids, signaling molecules, genetic information, etc., which are of central importance for the supply of the entire organism.

The result of the CHROMATEST shows what is needed to restore the body’s homeostasis.

The test can provide the following diagnostic information:
  • SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth)
  • SIFO (Small Intestinal Fungal Overgrowth)
  • Incomplete Dysbiosis
  • Normobiotic state (which protects the entire organism)
  • Fungal load, viral load, endotoxin load
  • Phospholipids (the most important structural building blocks of cell membranes)
  • Histaminase capacity (ability to break down histamine)
  • Indication of Leaky Gut Syndrome in the small intestine (intestinal permeability)
  • Bile function status and much more
